Just something to think about. If the goal is for DUST to have an impact on EVE, and vice verca, then why not have a shared forum as well? It would in a way strengthen the link wouldn't it?
I'd say walk in my shoes for a day, but you probably still won't understand.

There could be more potential then you think. Think of the features and discussion section; one person posts an idea, and a few others comment and add onto the idea. We're all dreaming of the day we can board titans, and we're always thinking of different ways to unite the games. While its nice to hear input from the few of us with a subscription, id like to hear input from more of the EVE community as well. If we're going to share a marketplace, an economy, we may want to hear the opinions of the people that we'll be buying from and selling to.
I'm not suggesting the removal of our current forums, but maybe the introduction of a therid forum; the New Eden Forums.

In my experince the two sides really really dont get along we are lot more boystress than they are and a lot more blunt, it really really anoyyes them they cant really do anything to us yet

Trolling between the two forums would be out of this world and few posts would go untrolled on either side. DUST would flame the EVE forums and they would do the same to us. Both forums are already full of trolls as it is and giving they players of one game access to the other game's forum would make it uncontrollable.
