Under the banner of content creation I am sailing my quaint little pirate ship through these lovely forums. In order to steer traffic to this film assistance program ( Cloaks, Daggers, and the Invisible Fifth Estate!) and generate revenue for the Dust Challenge Lottery primary ISK pot, I am transitioning the roles of two of my corporations: Ancient Textiles. and Spaceballs the Business Venture. Membership to these corporations carries strong perks, and equally challenging burdens.
Newly refurbished Spaceballs the Business Venture [SKROB] is strong in the Schwartz with 1300 available seats. All members earn 2x on Big Shot Bounties Bounties and +2 Film Credits. In return all members are taxed at a 50% rate. All funds generated go to the primary lottery pot.
Ancient Textiles [-AT.-] is a much more exclusive club, only for 40 players. Members are only granted approval of application once they have completed a minimum of four player created challenges found here (***Big Shot Bounty Board [Suggestion - Review - Authorization]***). Member benefits are much stronger as well. All members earn 3x on Big Shot Bounties Bounties and +3 Film Credits. Additionally, all members earn 1 ticket for every 1 million ISK added to the Dust Challenge primary lottery pot either through battle taxes or donations (send ISK to Ancient Textiles. or DJINN B4lock). Similar to the burdens of the prior corporation, all members of [-AT.-] are taxed at 95% and will be subject to termination of services if they do not produce a submission for a challenge once every 2 weeks. Content must be produced with the corporation member present in match and visible to count as valid for corporate retention. To reiterate, all player taxes and donations go directly to the Dust Challenge Lottery fund.
If you have questions or critiques please share them.

Posts like this make lurking all the more fun.
Also for some reason the fact that you created a corp(exclusivity) makes this look all the more like the start of a small army for that 'taking back PC' agenda of yours
#tinfoil hat is: on
I'm awfully curious to see if people flock to/gather round this pseudo-corp just for the extras.

Well, crap...I regret making that statement now. No, of the the two people, one person is not exempt. I might as well make the statement now.
This big factor that compelled me to start up the lottery was how 'this' issue actually went down.
[Sent to Better Business Bureau] The Glaring Gamestop Problem https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1572157#post1572157
Gamestop sends their codes through a third party service. I initially received a code for the $99.99 Elite pack which which was subsequently deleted from my purchase history by Gamestop without notice or a reversal to my credit card until I brought the matter before the Better Business Bureau. However, I had saved the code before its deletion and presented it to CCP game support, and the credited the pack to my account. Yet...about a week after CCP credited the packs to my account, Gamestop came back with a resolution notice that their investigation showed the item purchases (total $150) were not properly sent to me and they (Gamestop) fully reversed the charges. Basically, I have these items in the Dust Challenge Lottery, now free of charge....and I felt like I had 'stolen' something. In response to this inner pull of 'integrity,' I chose not to notify CCP of the BBB resolution and instead take these gains and turn it into a way to give back to the community far more than $150 ever could.
Essentially, I am running this lottery on 'complimentary' goods.

Hi there,
I submitted an inquiry about the purchase and delivery of my ethnic Seal Rugs. I was wondering if there was a hold up or some manufacturing malfunction. I have contacted your customer service department numerous times with no answer. I hope this matter can be corrected as soon as possible.

I must be missing something, but I don't see any real reason to join either corporation. So we play to pay for a lottery, while receiving minimal returns in exchange? Leaving most of it to chance.
Way too much information for me to process, and way too much work. Though I really want to knife someone out of a dropship now.

Thank you for your time, My sincerest apologies. Your expertly crafted products were stolen by saboteurs from a faction known as What the French. They demand 10 districts in return for the merchandise. I have personally contacted Kain Spero to procure counter leverage in the form of taking Audrey Tautou hostage for a transfer. I despise the though of kowtowing to the demands of terrorists. They deserve a pummeling for the over-beating they've likely given to my fine Seal Rugs (there is a delicate balance required to beating of baby seals for my fine fabrics).

Way too much information for me to process, and way too much work. Though I really want to knife someone out of a dropship now. The idea is that no one has really submitted content for this film maker challenge I designed which awards points to players to encourage others to film events (and ultimately make more media content for the Dust brand).
Filmmaker Challenge
Having the most points in this challenge awards you an uber payout of 21984 tickets. Currently, the largest ticket amount held by anyone in the lottery currently is 362 tickets (see Lottery Ledger). Joining either corporation helps player earn these points for filming challenges much more quickly, however, filmmakers in Ancient Textiles. earn at the fastest rate.
I wanted to structure it this way because if players are involved in filming events, they are in-game, and by being in game they generate ISK which builds the pot.
