The introduction of the player market? New Heavy weapons? New modules? No, all of these are features that have been promised for some time. They're not an "evolution" as such, which is the stated reveal at Fanfest.
So, bearing that in mind, this thread is a Speculation Station for all the things you think/HOPE might be announced. Mine is:
Dust coming to PC using a revived Carbon Engine. Would make sense because it's CCP's natural programming platform, it's not ten years old hardware like the PS3, and it has a longer shelf-life than the PS3
I considered PvE, but at this point is PvE really something that's going to rocket player numbers upwards? If people want to PvE there are a million games out there already in which they may do so. |

I don't think your idea has any logical sense to it. Doing that would be an horrendous move to pull on many of the current players. CCP would practically be allienating many people that had invested in the game and that either couldn't or wouldn't want to move to a completely different platform.
Dust is for Playstation, period. A transition towards PS4 is feasible but even that would need to be done while maintaining the PS3 version identical in content.

It has to be PS4 really. Dust will most likely never come to PC as then CCP would be in direct competition of itself for players of both EVE and Dust. PC is also less accessible as making a good PC is prohibitively expensive when compared to console gaming.
My bets are on PS4 and/or PvE announcents. |

There's no reason we couldn't access our characters on both PC and PS3. When PS3 numbers finally drop even more, the PS3 build could be quietly retired. |

Dust is a FPS. It does not compete directly with a spreadsheet MMO, which is why they're comfortable enough in releasing Valkyrie, which is different enough to a spreadsheet MMO that it also does not compete. |

FFS Carbon is not a graphics engine - it won't make Dust look pretty. Dust is already using parts of Carbon as far as I know, for backend stuff.

But Dust competes with a whole lot of other free to play FPSes on PC, other MMO's etc. |

It does, but if they want this game to have a decade of life, the PS3 is undeniably not the place where that's possible. The PS4 could be where Dust lasts a decade, but as well as the PS4 has sold it still doesn't not have the userbase of the PS3. I don't have a PS4 and won't till the slim version comes out, but I have a PC ready to go. All those EVE PC players, who no doubt play FPS games also, are a built-in audience for Dust. |
