Currently skilled at 1. Here's my fit: 2 nanohives
Combat rifle Bolt pistol
2 Enhanced precision enhancers Basic shield energiser
Enhanced dampener.
It's amazing as to how unobservant most people are

I can't seem to fit a decent basic caldari scout. The advanced and proto ones are only good.

IMO the shield energizer is so, so unnecessary- you'll recharge in just a few seconds anyway. It may not even make a regen tick of difference. If you can fit an extender instead, you should do so. I would drop the precision enhancers altogether, since I find situational awareness + tank a more effective scout counter than precision enhancement, because anything less than 2x complex precision enhancer won't let you see cloaked scouts.
Personally I think the bolt pistol is junk and find the magsec a much better long range sidearm, but that's up to you.
I would also take REs over one of the nanohives, but again, that's personal preference.

Without more levels into cal scout you aren't benefiting from the passive scans as much. I would go damp, cloak, compact hive, CR, smg, and as much shield as you can stack.
Gun control is not about guns...it's about control.
The only way to ensure freedom is by having the means to defend it.

I thought the scout was the one that got scan precision benefits... If I were you I would just load some militia extenders or basic if you can't handle the draw and fit a militia armor rep. That way the suit is cheap. You're going to get scanned by any serious profile hunters anyways, might as well be able to rep your measly armor. Also maybe consider a MD over a combat rifle. The MD works wonders on fast moving scout suits and your high shields should help keep you from suiciding in CQC. Now you can flank and bolt pistol/blow targets up or you can hang out on a low roof and bolt pistol/blow targets up. I would suggest a cloak but without points into scout you won't be toting one. |

That is because there isn't one, lows>highs utility wise which the cal scouts ewar is highly dependent on both low and high slots, so standard cal scouts are heavily restricted to slayer builds. Which is the number 1 reason why I don't use basic cal scouts myself. Any ewar fit on a Std and your not going to use the suit up to its maximum fitting potential or the racial abilities (which take both lows and highs)

Precision enhancers only take up . . . 33cpu?
More than one is a waste of a slot if you've got any space for an extender, which seems likely.
You'd probably benefit from dropping the pistol for something more, you know, useful.
No.
