They should stay. Militia stuff needs to exist so people can try out a style of play before they burn a week's work of SP in order test them.

Really..... I don't even run triple rep Maddies and I haven't been taken down by a Sica in recent memory.... Gunlogi sure....but never a filthy Milita Tank piloted by a non tanker.

Nope cause they would just be replaced with standard tanks instead. It barely costs any SP to unlock a gunlogi or madrugar.

Let's get real here, how often are there 6 enemy tanks on the field?
I haven't had a game in weeks where there's been more than four tanks, sometimes five but only once in a bluemoon.
The norm for me is around zero to two enemy tanks on the field at once.
I don't know what magical game-mode you all are playing because I rarely ever seen tank spam and it makes my Forge Gun sad when there's no tanks to blow up.

I thought we were done with tanks on the forums I rarely get tank spam if your running solo its your fault. If your not running av you shouldnt complain. Except personaly Vehicles should'nt even be in ambush two tanks can easily destroy a team and av.
And also if we had the test lab there would be no reason for militia and newberrys would just get that blue print filled with basic gear.

Obviously not. The problem is with all the players who don't want to put one skill point into tanks. They are only using it for the immediate access to mods that have as much power as an sp invested tanker only for a shorter yet wholly adequate amount of time for an engagement.

I have no problem with a skilled tanker going 40/1, just like I have no problem with skilled infantry doing the same. If you use 3 militia reps or 3 enhanced, your not even that hard to kill. 512 is the Max, anything below that is easy to kill.

That's all I need to kill every vehicle is this game with one exception: triple repper Maddy. The only vehicle that I cannot solo. When there is vehicle spam, don't sit in the buildings. Kill the motherfuckers.

It's amazing that people come and write such dribble and propaganda about triple repairer , proto gunning tanks .
It's clear what the goal's of these people are and that's to kill this role and have it changed to the point where a tank will be a ineffective easy kill .
How is this making this game better and more competitive ???
At least know what you are talking about , like these people who love throwing up number's and using some web sight to check fits .
We are living in an age where people can just have their words written for all to see ( not knowing or caring if it's true or not ) and to be taken in as the gospel not even caring who is being mislead by those words and what actions will come from misleading and lies .

AV is viable again, tanks are viable again. Its reached somewhat of a balance IMO. The fact that the maps are so tiny and the vehicle limit is so high is whats annoying. You could literally span the 12 tanks allotted at one time (both teams) almost the entire length of some of these maps, well the actual "playable" areas of the maps. I'm not counting the endless desert no one but blueberries go to. |

I wanted to take a moment to respond to the concept of "AV can't take down a field of tanks".
I was playing last night against a group of FA and friends, who had spammed a map full of ADS and tanks. We were getting beat up pretty bad, so I had my team all switch to AV. Myself in a scout fit with maxed out proto swarms with damage mods/remotes/nades, and 2 proto forge guys up high with a good view of the field. 3 ADS and 8 tanks later we made it quite exspensive for them! Yes they orbital'd us off towers and yes I lost a few proto AV load outs doing it, but I had over 3500 war points to show for it at the end of the match.
The point I'm trying to make here is that no, you shouldn't be able to solo a tank with your AV fit. However, if you as a squad leader, change your team over to run AV, with a little coordination you can drop millions of ISK out of the enemy teams pockets. The new war points for damaging vehicle perk allows for plenty of gain to be had for AV work. Oh, and did I mention that I am the pretty maxed out proto vehicle specialist for my Corp? 15ish Million SP into vehicles/turrets and I never once called in a tank. Just a derpship to get my forge team up high.
AV does work, tanks are not evil, and yes...you are that stupid.

Cheers Well said and a shame that you had to give an example that most already know . I swarm tanks daily and love to A.V. more than I use my vehicle's .
These people know that swarms , forges and grenades as well as explosive's work . We know their " REAL " intentions and it's just not going to work .
How can you triple rep a militia tank anyway ???

The tripple repair madrugar is the only thing broken at the moment. It negates AV damage like nothing else. And that is bad for balancing and aswell depressing for players who use AV. Armor dropships are aswell still a issue cause CCP fixed only the shield variants but the armor dropships still have the insane resistance against swarm launchers.

Get your AV frame. It's funny that literally ALL of these things can't be used when you are spawn camped by a blaster tank looking at the uplink. It'd be nice if I could instantly fire AV, charge a forge gun or use the AV grenades before the tank's blaster cuts me down.
