I was playing Domination and noticed I was the only one on the ground, I didn't mind as a I thought the rest were still spawning in. I rushed into the city hacked the CRU,"Enemy is Hacking A" burned on the screen. I proceeded to the Supply Depot and dropped an uplink then boom. Scouts threw grenades at my feet while a heavy made it's way to the CRU. Surely the blues took a different direction into the city, but no they were stuck in the entrance. Spawned into the MCC and called in an LAV to place uplinks on the opposite end of the city. 5 minutes in, nobody spawns on my uplinks so I rampage into the objective. Destroying Uplinks and eliminating reds with my scrambler and shotgun. I begin to hack the objective and see there are blues moving in, I come out and get shot by a scout. I turn around and use MY shotgun to kill him. I defend the objective while our blues fell, once I died we immediately lost the objective. Rinse and Repeat, this happened 3 times and I was the only one who hacked the objective. We lost, I was 2nd on the board 17/9/6, 1,750 WP (the first guy was using a tank).




TL;DR Hack Objective, Defend, Lose Objective Immediately After YOUR Death. Rinse and Repeat 3 times. Went 17/9/6, 1,750 WP. Only one who hacked, where are my Blueberries?

You my friend were the stupid one. Everyone else checked the roster and saw they did not get put on the same team with the protostompers.

Next time save yourself the pain. Sit back and farm what kills you can, move on. Actually, you can do this even if you are on the same team with the protostompers. It isn't like they need your help winning.

I had a somewhat similar case when me and a squad noticed we were the only ones pushing in a domination match. We were falling behind already. It wasn't until one of us kept pushing on the objective that the rest of the entire team of blueberries decided to follow his example and pushed along with him. We won thereafter. Sometimes a little self sacrifice can encourage the team.

I have taken part in those movements. Honestly, those are the best battles turning the odds in your favor and making every clone count.

Totally doable as a scout. Easier, even, than doing it in any other suit- if you're trying to solo down a larger voice, engaging, disengaging, and regenning are your bread and butter. Shield tanked Cal scout for great victory.
