Have any of you played a Domination match where the opposing team had "at least" one full organized squad of players from corps such Nyain San, Ancient Exiles, WARRAVENS, etc. and your team consisted of nothing but a bunch of randoms who opted not to squad up? However, by some miracle the team your on refused to give in and continued to push the objective and work together as if they had organized comms which ultimately resulted in your team winning.

I have not had that happen in Dom, but I have in Skirmish. I looked to join a squad at the beginning of a game, and all players were listed under No Squad.
Next thing I knew, we were dominating.
Unfortunately, that is the exception to the rule.

when you see the list of teams and you see nothing but NPC corps on your side and the other team has a squad or two, all you can think is "i better run the free sh*t ." its a beautiful thing when the outcome is the opposite of what you expected and it genuinely puts a smile on my face that a team of randoms can work so well together. when the battle is over and its a win or lose, i send out GG to all the guys on my team for giving hell, when i honestly believed that the butt ramming was about to happen at full force. love games like that.

There was a corp that stood out to me AUT0B0TS. A guy named UR M0MMA had around 25 kills and 1 death with three of his corp members behind him on WP. We beat ambush in 3-4 minutes. Unfortunately they were on the enemy side next match. Thats right UR M0MMA is a beast and I indeed ran my scared little feet away from them.
More on topic, I've been in a random team against 2 full corp squads and still won. As a medic I just stick with the biggest group and pick up my meat shields if they get downed.

This is my alt and all I can say is I have fought with you and against you and find it fun as usual. You are correct I was on your team not that long ago and we had a few names that stood out but most did not. We handed Severe True Blood a beating I have never seen likes of again to this date. All I can say is I was in the top 600 players as of yesterday in kills and top 700 in WP and I am without a corp, so I love it when we randoms work together.

Not scared. Boring and predictable. Why bother to assume anybody will really do anything? It is a video game. Which means who cares enough to beat the tryhards? It's not like a job or duty or requirement.

My most memorable example of this was a Dom, on the map with the tall scaffold and the crows nest above A. Entire team stuck together on the letter and I was literally the only person using equipment. I spent the entire match dropping uplinks, hives and reviving/repping. They held the point like champs and gave me 5000WP that game.

Yeah, there have been quite a few of those. Most of the time though I find that my squad and I are doing the majority of the work, especially when it comes to defending key objectives.
Just like in a skirmish match today I decided to go around in a rail tank (one of the other guys in the squad did the same thing in a dropship) for some AV work instead of going in on foot like I usually do. Well, in about 6 minutes, all of the letters were red because the blueberries either couldn't push nor hold an objective.
As for an answer to your bottom part of the post, my guess is those "blueberries" very well might have been alts from already good players in the good corporations.

There may very well be a good number of decent players in NPC corps who prefer to spend their time lonewolfing, and if Scotty is generous enough, he'll put all these players on one team to raise hell against all the organized corp squads/queue-synced teams just for shits and giggles. |

Not in Dom... but in skirmish it happens a lot... I've seen most corps under the sun get rumbled by a bunch of randoms. The "why" is a different reason... we could've been a bunch of random vets with alts, they were afking or just trying some experimental tactic that failed miserably... It was only last month that I was in a team with bunch of randoms and there was a full squad of maphia clan on the other side... they started losing, started tank spamming, still kept losing, and then a few of them ragequit... gives your heart a warm glow when that happens. |

Maphia clan is not an elite corp, we simply accept any italian speaking willing to fight. Unit Unicorn is another story tho.... It still sound strange the tank spam thing but, yeah, might happen when your corporation counts more than 500 players, some of them might fly under the radar. I've played a few matches where my team would be around 3/4 armor on the MCC whilst the opposition had barely lost any shields, and we would somehow cap the objective and hold onto it for dear life. |

Sometimes all that is needed are a few well placed uplinks and hives and the randoms can make it happen. the ferocity that some bluberries have can turn the tide under certain conditions. These mercs are new enough not to know or care who they are playing but have the drive to try ,i try my best when this spark is present in a group and even if we lose the other team knows that we didn't just lay down.I relish these matches even if they are not the norm. |

I was actually going to let this one go... but I did keep the hate mail...
the guy who sent it is called "er vipera" and the mail just says "you lag, camper noob"...
I dropped an orbital on his head, but I get a lot of hate mail... I've never joined a corp so when people see a guy in a starter corp wiping the floor with their squadmates they don't react well sometimes... it's not like this is a game or anything!

We'll take steps against him; anyway, he's a good guy. You should know that in Italy we don't even have a decent connection sometimes it happens that the whole squad lag as hell and they just leave the match and do a total reset. Nobody have fun when your hit does not register, right?
About the hate mail, I'm working really hard in order to punish this attitude. So, thank you for your cooperation.
