The only thing i like (assault dropships) is a money losing business to a point where I want to pull my hair out. A assault dropshipper has to worrie about so many things it's stupid. RDV's shouldn't be a problem, THe amount of damage we take from lightly bumping stuff shouldn't be problem and we shouldn't have to worry about mother fking blue berries barley touching us to kill us. Also we shouldn't have to fking worry about being knocked upside down by swarms. We shouldn't have to freking worry about jilhad Dropships. Like wtf CCP? Why make the thing in the game that requires the most skill so much freking isk. 500k isk is too much considering that it is soo easy to die in one of these... Is a viper with less Hp and a turret in the front really worth 350k isk?


Also, wtf is up with the dropship handling, its so stupidly slow compared to 1.7.

Landing sideways and rolling -30 to 30 degrees across the drop zone and then get the hell out a there.
Always using tall objects as cover when you ascend.
Learn how to dive land safely.
Learn how to perch.
Learn how to stall as a feint.
Come in behind objects and then pop over the top at the last second.

Spend several matches practicing combat flying techniques, disregarding what is going on in the game. It's not like we have a practice zone.

after piloting a python for a very short amount of time for the first time.paid friend 350k isk to call one down with a mlt light shield booster and mlt light rep so i could try to fly one.

it is really different from flying a mlt dropship. yet very similar i suspect thats because of the turret..

had more speed in the since it can raise and lower faster and such. but still. my mlt dropships rarely if ever got shot of the sky. i lose most of them suicide running snipers in the redzone or clearing the roofs of certain buildings. that may house av.

but whilst flying around randomly i never really take any damage.

but the one day i pay for a python and figure the stuff out it gets shot down fairly quickly by a rail tank up on a hill.i didnt even get to shoot eh front turret at any one..any ways i got my revenge as they had invoked my wrath of vengeance. as in.i grabbed my rail gunlogi and destroyed all their tanks fairly quickly. had their tanks cowering in fear with in the redzone by the end of the match.

in any case i think it could be ok for a price decrease for the ads.
then again. its also been an extreme pain in the ass trying to shoot them out of the sky.
but i suspect a dropship fitting with several complex modules and such would be expensive and severely isk draining regardless..
