Why isn't this EveOnline DevBlog, which addresses 'New Eden', posted in the Announcements and Events Forum?
I only ask in the continued interest of unifying user experiences in the New Eden Universe. (the content of the blog isn't something I've seen occurring in Dust, but obviously people should report such issues to the aforementioned Team Security)
IMHO Dust continues to suffer directly and indirectly by way of poor communication between the 2 platforms (soon to be 3, with Eve: Valkyrie) that comprise New Eden.
I've been continually disappointed with the continuity of communication and interaction from CCP in integrating the 2 platforms.
The EVE DevBlog above is an excellent, but hardly the only, example of this internal and external disconnect.
RTFA for details, but it clearly takes responsibility for 'New Eden'. As such, it would benefit CCP to inform Dust Players of their unified security efforts
Even after looking beyond the setbacks to cross platform immersion caused by the failure of Incarna in EVE, the over promise and subsequent replacement of Dust's Exec Producer, and the obviously sloppy fit and finish issues of the most recent updates to Dust, CCP has never communicated effectively across New Eden, save for the "Battle of Caldari Prime" event.
Even that event was, IMHO, under marketed, both before and after.
It was an excellent milestone. Even if the actual interaction between the 2 games amounted to a background being loaded in Dust, with no actual effect on New Eden, it still felt like there was ONE universe.
Please take this post as a plea to consider New Eden, and all its inhabitants, more carefully when creating new communications, in and out of the game(s) you're creating. CCP has a ton of things going for it, but you're not there yet, you're not building New Eden as much as you're still building 3 disconnected platforms.

to be massively honest people who care about dust news will seek it out, what do you want the devs to do, light a single flare everytime they post somthing, they should just post it on the dev blog and thats about it, they go beyond what i expect by flooding all the channels
