However, passive scanning is only really good for offense if you can get a scan range of about 40m. Scouts are great in 1.8 since with only passive skills fully upgraded and no modules, they get 30m (37.5m for Cal and Gal) and 36dB (27dB for Cal). If you upgraded your precision enhancement to 5 and expected to see people in your heavy suit, you'll be disappointed. ur argument was FROM 1.7 ... & passive DIDNT FKN WORK then, so STFU, our arguments are the SAME, ur just too much an idiot (trying to be inexplicably argumentative) to see it |

It's just silly to compare passive and active scans. They have two separate roles on the battlefield. Active scans are still a very useful tool you just can't 360 spin and reveal damn near half the map every 10-20 seconds. Without mention that active scanners are useful to all the squad. UR corp spawned this post... sqd o 6 sct ck.0 running Sixkin & Boundless CRs... All 6... not just 1 or 3... |

Passive scans did work in 1.7. I was an E-WAR scout in 1.7 so I'd know. You're the one being offensive (and immature). I am saying that passive scans have always been better than active scans, in 1.8 and in previous patches. The only difference is that the mediums/heavies who complained so much about active scanners got them nerfed in 1.8, so they don't have access to the level of intel that scouts still enjoy. Seems like they were just as reliant on their "crutch", and now scouts are mopping face because they know where everyone else is, and everyone else is hopelessly lost. passive DIDNT FKN WORK for SHITE since Chrome & until 1.8... u Dont know JACK!!!
