Hi guys,
I am a Gallente Scout Lv3 fitting along with lv5 Complex Profile Dampening and Precision enhancer.
Would I get more effects if I were to equip 2x Complex Precision and vice versa for Complex Profile Dampening? Or Would I get stack penalty?
I chose Gallente due to being the stealthiest class and I want to remain my profile as low as possible.
Also for Lv 5 Proto type Gallente Scout should I bother using 2x Profile Dampenings or stick with one? I'd like to avoid Caldari Scout scan as much as possible.
I would appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks guys!!

I encourage you to take a look at this topic Dampening & Precision
The spreadsheet is easier to see and let's you check how they apply to other scouts, it assumes level 5 scout/dampener/precision but you can always download the spreadsheet and change the values

Most people are going to tell you to run 2x Complex Damps. This is because good Cal Scouts generally can see you if you are only running 1 with an exception of when you are cloaked. Because the cloak acts like another Complex Damp if you add another one you technically don't need to cloak as you won't show up on the radar. However, you will still likely want to run with it because of its tactical advantage.
Personally, I usually only run with 1 on my main character because with Advanced Cloak you are cloaked like 90 - 95% of the match anyways. However, I will swap out one of the Range Amps or the Kincat if I do run into a good one. Most Cal Scouts are the FoTM chasers brick tanking from what I can tell so it usually isn't much of a problem(especially when cloaked).
My favorite fitting on my main - ADV eWAR Gal Scout:
2x Complex Precision Enhancers
1x Complex Damp 2x Complex Range Amps (OR - 1x Complex Range Amp & 1x Complex Kincat)
Adv Cloak
CRG-3 Shotgun Breach ScP
Locus Grenade |

If you want to learn scoutly ways, stop by the Barbershop, located in the Locker Room:
https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=90055&find=unread
It is a hangout for a lot of scouts in the game. I wouldn't recommend trying to read the whole thread, as you will eventually bleed from the nose and go into a coma.
We often discuss fittings, tactics, and off topic things as well. We welcome newcomers.
Looking for the scout hangout?
