This makes me very worried about the bonuses bug being really nasty. Clearly it should have a higher priority. The only reason it's not being fixed sooner is because they can't identify the cause, they can't figure out a solution that doesn't create many new problems, or it can't be hotfixed and needs to go through Sony, which they may be unwilling to do so close to Fanfest.
Regardless, CCP needs to communicate about what the hell is going on. It's a pretty serious bug. They should let us know if (hypothetically) they have identified the cause, but the solution isn't something that can be added in a hotfix, and to expect a fix in the next major patch. Even If it's bad news, we should still know.

It could very well be the kind of bug that requires a patch to fix.
Hotfixes have limitations.
My intentions is to have a fun game for everyone.
If I seem to be biased, I have good hard data to back it up.

They can't tell us what the status is on a fix if they haven't identified the problem.
If they identified the problem and relayed it to us, we'd blast their sloppiness.
Also, they would have to admit fault and another Shanghai **** up and that's not going to happen either.
