Where's the people whose passion in this game burn beyond words behind a screen? Where's the CPM PC experience? Do you really believe 5 or 10 matches gives you the authority to speak on behalf of PC players who pretty much dominate this game and possibly your vote outcome?
It's pretty evident that the only real voters will be people who care, and they usually tend to navigate eventually to a PC corp. So it's very likely PC players will decide the outcome of who gets elected. Though, it's also possible the masses just decide to care one day and vote for whoever they decide at random, I doubt they read these forums to get to know any of you.
CPM does not work because the people running for it do not represent us. I need a candidate that has been the boots on the ground and knows first had the experiences we speak of to CCP. Without that - you're unreliable. Your facts and figures are useless if put into practical play they fail. Flaylock pistol nerf handling and other moves made by CCP highlight this problem. Where's my experience in PC you ask? How about when NG/PI held 16% of molden heath and we didn't discrict lock. Yes, I was in NG/PI. For the whole of what length? Your PC career, from the sounds of it, is based on the past. You're not currently involved. How do you represent me? I should of added that being a part of a PC corps logistics is honestly enough, and that having a past record in PC isn't unless lengthy. You'd at least have some understanding of how truly low TTK is, as well as the many woes of map design and how changes to stats makes big impacts, or none at all, such as the increase to uplink spawn time. I know it's hard for current candidates to do anything to fix PC experience with DNS's hands on everyones balls - but didn't that occur because the community is unhealthy due to lack of leaders stepping up? What makes you a good enough leader to step up for a community when you can't step up to PC? Yes it was in the past, I was in PC from the start or EoN till disctric locking occurred. The reason I'm not in it any longer is the carebear bullshit that happened and the lack of interest given because of it. PC in its current form needs scrapped and in my opinion discrict lockers need to have their 'hard earned ISK' removed. They are one of the main problems with this game, npe and general experience of the player base. This is unacceptable response from a CPM candidate. You gave up. Did Kane give up? District locking was bad, sure, but there was a method in which to pick that lock. Check the history of districts being flipped - during the times of locked many were being flipped by NF. So I do not find any excuse of care bear acceptable to the abandonment of PC. That is simply people accepting a bad system for what it is and hoping for someone else to fix it. That is not what I want in a CPM.
How about this, SoTa. I've been doing PC from May 2013 to April 2014 My corp history is pretty well known and can be seen by anyone with an EVE-character.
But this? "So I do not find any excuse of care bear acceptable to the abandonment of PC. " Who was it that blue'd up with the only competition? Oh, right, you did. Who was it that removed heir EVE character from corp and publicly announced the RA/N-F deal before anyone had a chance to make it sound pretty? (then got Infantry forcibly removed)
The only 16 person team that could reliably field a competitive team, and even the corps that had regularly used ringers, have been absorbed into a single Alliance. Those that left PC early can have objections to the terrible lag-which is now present in everyone's public contracts- or the simple idea that a small corp can dominate the game and the only counter to them is to wait until they get bored or switch systems or buy a new game so their numbers dwindle. Only you've all protected yourself from the dwindling numbers problem by huddling up.
Please, Mr Pop SoTa, explain how that is not being a carebear and protecting yourself from anyone that could challenge you? Instead of the people that left the ****** system before the preeminent carebear example alliance took hold. Are you saying you'll vote for anyone in a corp that was removed from PC or is it you just won't vote for anyone outside DNS?
