Yes, If they field a tank you should panic, you should need to bring in special exquipment = the best being another tank.
There should be no - I need a win button verse tanks.
CCP is about realism (example eve) For real if the other team fields a tank and you don't have one or good anti-tank players/fits your in big trouble.
I would hate to see cheap expendable tanks that just run in to blow up.
I die to tanks over and over and they run 40-0 (Its not their fault). L2P
Sad that some players need these win buttons - what ever I fit or pick I should have equal chance to win... NOT IN THIS FPS bye bye baddies. |

So let me get this straight, there should be no "I win button" vs Tanks (like spec'd av?), but tanks averaging 40-0 is business as usual?

AV should not be an "I win" button he is saying because Tanks themselves are not "I win" buttons.
More often than not it is a teams laziness that costs them a match as opposed to an HAV's apparent OPness.

I did not say like anything. But no, it should not be easy to counter tanks PERIOD.
Tanks averaging 40-0 are not doing so by skill... they are doing so by lack of others skill - just like cloak. |

That's debateable. Matches like that for me come with 4+ tank kills and if I am doing that and destroying HAV with a Blaster a horribly inferior gun for tank combat.... I'd say I am rather skilled in my role.

And the bitter vets who have run then since day 1 personally I would rather run an hav because any idiot can point a gun and shoot it takes a special idiot to do it effectively against enemy infantry and enemy armour, you can tell the difference the second you engage in Tank V Tank the old school tankers will try and evade and "dance" around you it's like seeing two bucks getting ready to fight over a doe in heat, they will run and gun and use there surroundings but the cod kiddie KDR padders think " he is in a tank I am in a tank but I am better" they will sit still and fire and attempt to hold there ground, which leads to a fiery death. Tanking is an art there are those who have mastered it and those who picked it up for lolz

That's exactly how it worked, even before 1.7
In PC, tanks often scored less than infantrymen, simply because everyone knew how to avoid/combat the tank and render it useless
only in pubs against no opposition (i.e. ******** redberries) were these self proclaimed "ace tankers" able to get their great scores |
