Based on forum tears it is
Gal Scout is best followed by Cal Scout Not sure about Amarr and Mini but last I heard is that the mini still has pg/CPU issues. |

I only use Gallente and Minmatar. I use my Minmatar for more city orientated maps where I can use my knives with little to no problem. My Gallente is for outside maps and more of an assault styled scout. (Little health but with CR and SMG with uplinks and remotes) |

My main used to use Minmatar before 1.8, but switched to Gallente with the current patch. It is much much better especially considering its even worse to fit a Minmatar Scout now. Gallente cannot be seen while at the same time being able to see everyone else. They have a built in Armor Rep and they have a large amount of Low Slots which are the most versatile in the game. This allows you to be more creative and allows you to really stack on the eWar modules becoming a ghost. |

I haven't played the others but Gal scout is straight up Dust EZ mode at the moment so I will go with that one.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

I fully expect Cal to be the best choice, in particular if (when) CCP nerf cloaks dampening. I haven't fully skilled my Cal but its bonus is great, as you see 95% of the battle from safety. It's too good not to pass up and i plan on skilling into it asap on my main.
Min is garbage, while the Gal is better than Amarr (especially if they nerf dampening, which greatly helps Amarr.). It wouldn't matter if you went Gal or Cal, but Cal advantages far outright its negatives. So Cal, Gal, Amarr, Min. I would be surprised if anyone doesn't have the list the same way or at least Gal, Cal, Amarr, Min. |

Your shotgun may take me out in two shots, but my burst only takes one ;)

I'm personally a huge fan of the Caldari scout due to the fantastic shield regen, though the Gallente scout is also a solid option. The Minmatar is quite fun too though.
The Amarr is just a worse Gallente scout. It's not a bad suit, per se, but there are directly better options.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

gal has +3 armor rep, 3 low, if lvl 5 in scout and profile dampening lvl 1 scout is 22 dbs(meaning only best scanner ingame can find you....if it hits you) and 2 high at adv.
To not go gal is crazy. but for the record you can equip an adv gal assault like a scout and possibly do much better.
Im not from new eden. I dont need back up, political power or support. I, unlike you dont fear nuetral territory.

I'd say Gal and Cal are tied for best scout. The Cal is excellent at locating and killing other scouts and has very flexible CPU/PG. The Gal is the best way to take out a Cal scout and has plenty of versatility in its slot layout.
Minmatar has potential to make it a 3-way tie, but it's about 5-8 PG short. A Proto Minja with NKs, a codebreaker, and KCs can be devastating in the right conditions. It's low PG just limits how well it can be fit beyond those key components, which forces it to fit Precision Enhancers over shields and eliminates most options for a second weapon.
Amarr is the only scout that I don't have, so I can't say much regarding it. I think it already has more potential than some give it credit for, but I have yet to try it out for myself. |

Depends on your play style.
For stealth and its the Gal scout, the gal is also pretty good for Ewar in general.
For combat its clearly the Cal Scout good HP buffer insane regen and by far the best passive scanning.
For speed hacking the minmatar is unbeatable, and the minni has the most flexible slot layout.
The Amarr can be fitted for Ewar quite well but is lacking the supporting skills a bit but he has the highest HP potential coupled with the best mobility... |

I would rather go for the Cal you can easily detect every suit in the game apart from a heavily dampened gal scout...you have an insane HP regen while still being faster than the gal scout... |

Gallente and Caldari are the EWAR Scouts, with one being the best for tracking enemy movements (Caldari) and the other being the best for avoiding detection (Gallente). Gallente Scout is the offensive EWAR suit, while Caldari is a more defensive one.
The Amarr "Scout" is a Light "Black Ops" Assault suit.
Minmatar is the speed-tanked hacker Scout. With the right fitting, you can disrupt enemy lines and cause havoc for them.
TL;DR version: Every Scout is the "best" at something. |

The forum thinks its the Gal and Cal. Personally, I loved every minute of my class cannon mini. What is there not to love? A suit built on the idea of knives to a gun fight? A bonus to decking clones in the face? Sure punching is a little underwhelming, but nothing says "blow me" like a love tap into a stab.
Though still.... That girl needs PG... |

i'm Proto With 3 Scouts.. ( Always a Scout ) and i've got to say i favor the Cali Scout.. for my detection ability and range. and Gal Scout my Second for the passive damp, and armor repair also Min Scout for them 1000+ Knife Strikes. and Hack Speed (but i'm so squishy you can just sneeze on me and i'm dead in that load out.)
Amarr uh... i'f i did that scout i'm use it as a logi type scout... i'd love the stamina /and regen but.... they look like the aliens off of fallout... soo ya....

I only go for the CRU since there are most likely patrols/guards lurking about that I will need to fend off, and with their deaths they will alert their squad. Time will be crucial, so two spawn points is essential before anything else. Turrets don't matter much nowadays. |
