I personally have a big disappointment.
This game is an action shooter and in my point of view a set of very real wars in equipment. It can not be that a layer is set to be invisible like a game of fantasy and super heroes.
True, many players liked but this is an opinion and I move ASAP game.

he's saying dust is becoming like a fantasy game because it's meant to be realistic and cloaks aren't.
well the game is based in the future so he knows as much as we do.

No, it is a realization of the direction this sh*t is headed. Next we'll get magic superpowers like X-Men and the fanboys will totally defend that.
CCP could stick a farting duck in the game and the tryhards would defend it as if it was meant to be and written in stone.

so many fps's similar to dust have cloaks. planetside, global agenda, killzone, etc etc.
why in the **** are you comparing it to a rpg about superheros? AT LEAST spend the 3 seconds to google similar game mechanics and list that.. like, wow. |

In the current (21st century) we have almost cracked the cloak.
20k years ahead and we still haven't found it out?
Currently we own Anti-Missile laser defense systems, which utilise LASER POINTERS that burn holes in missiles.
20k years ahead we can't focus a light beam into a Anti-Materiel slicer?
Currently we have AI's that fight our wars for us(partially)

Wow, here we are in a game that has force fields capable of terminating terminal velocity in a second without shattering every bone in your body, viable laser weapons that fire for more than a few seconds on batteries the size of a 3DS, aircraft as big as a city bus capable of hovering in place and attain decent altitudes on the thrust of four engines no bigger than a small fridge, even bigger aircraft the size of a high rise able to maintain altitude with no obvious repulsive engines at all, orbitally deployed cloak-capable aircraft that have no obvious heat shields making planetfall unscathed while towing underneath itself an equally unshielded vehicle... etc, etc... I could go on and on and on... but the point here is we've had all these things for the longest time and your only complaint is a piece of equipment? That does something an existing vehicle has been doing since ever?... |
