I know since about 1.3/4 Officer weapons appear to be a little rarer than they were in Chromosome, but I'd still like to see some variants of other weapons -
- Officer Flaylock
- Officer Plasma cannon
- Officer Mass driver
- Officer Nova knives
etc
Basically anything that's currently missing from the game, it's nice to be skilled into a proto weapon, but it's even better knowing you have the ability to use officer gear when the time is right.
Does anyone know of any plans to include these at some point?

Ccp hasn't said a damn thing about it.
Which is unfortunate because a full availability of officer weapons, suits, modules, and vehicles along with the player market essentially would create a brand new and much more sustainable end game for vets, and help distribute the wealth from these rich vets to these new players that get officer salvage and can decide to sell it for isk.
Giving new players and vets alike a reason to stay and play more, along with creating an endgame similar to and defining of other MMOs(unique and important items and gear rareley attained by anyone,then sold by new players to vets for high amounts of currency is in basically every MMO)sounds important right?
But this is CCP. Not the brightest bunch.

This has been asked befor and still nothing i dont think they care it creates an imbalance between weapon groups i have skilled alot of weopens that i truly belive will never see true racial balance.

Specialist LP variant are better than most officer weapons (Except Thales., becuase Thales are OP even when compared to other officer weapons)

Best of the best are what officer weapons are .
Like the other individual mentioned , " I'm in no rush to see a officer's CR " .. well think about that and a RR or MD ( Like was asked ) or NK's .
Proto NK's do an already decent job as it is and to have that ....  , hell advanced NK's are no joke if used correctly and even more so by someone who has proto .
Stop asking for tiercide , your killing variety and the fun of this game at the same dam time .

8 but with the specialist lock time and it can target three vehicle's at the same time if necessary .

seeing as CCP cant seem to balance standard series of weapons yet i'd rather wait. do we really need a Rail ifle with higher DPS? eventually i'd expect there will be officer variants of weapons just as in EVE but most weapons are broken and fixed so much atm i'd rather wait
