Get your playstation off the wifi, setup port forwarding and it will essentially disappear. Unless your an aussie or are playing in asia for some reason . . . then I've got nothin. |

I just hardwired mine into my router and I experience almost no lag. It occasionally lag spikes but nothing on a regular basis.
Like my ideas?

I have mine hardwired. but ever since 1.8, the lag is like....teleporting enemies every 5 seconds, and ammo glitches, and speeding through walls and teleporting back, only to find yourself up against a wall. Stuff like that. In 1.7 I experienced none of this.

Yeah, first just trying running an Ethernet cable from your PS3 to your modem/router if you can, if your still having issues or running a cable is nearly impossible like my last house then you can try port forwarding.
This is from the support sub forum and should get you on the right track if you need to go that route. Port forwarding is often model specific so I can't really give you step by step. Good luck there are plenty of decent reasons to rage at Dust, simple network lag should not be one of them. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=27899&find=unread |
