We -need- so badly vehicle stasis webs, for non eve players something to dramatically reduce the speed of a tank or drop ship.
The most frustrating thing about trying to attack vehicles right now as infantry is mobility.
If you spawn as infantry with a swarm or forge you loose your ability to fight infantry effectively, you gain the ability to fight vehicles. The problem is, they can just drive away and wreck the other side of the battlefield, leaving you totally useless to either find a supply point, suicide or run across the map like a headless chicken.
So many times I have spawned, run to the area the vehicle is, let loose my AV weapons and done a fairly unimpressive amount of damage, only to see a tank zip of round a corner leaving me stood there holding my **** a long run from a supply depo. Most of the time I'm killed by infantry on route.
The best AV fit I've found is a scout with RE's, for three reasons:
1) You have high alpha so a tank cannot always run away to safety 2) You retain the ability to fulfill your main role on the battlefield as it only takes one eq slot. 3) The sprint speed means its a lot easier to stay with a tank when its moving around in a set area than it is trying to keep it in forge fun/swarm sights.
Its mad that the best anti tank fit is not even using AV weapons, a big factor is due to mobility.

I think that CCP and the community are too focused now on balancing what we have. We're still missing a bunch of variables that factor into the whole equation (such as webs and other forms of E-war).
For example, right now tanks got acceleration and speed, and I think they are perfectly fine as is. But infantry cries that we're too fast because there's no way of slowing us down. So instead of nerfing our speed even further, CCP should look into adding webs.
I think that because we are too focused on balancing what we currently got, it is detrimental to the game. We are trying to balance around things that aren't in the game yet, and once they are in the game, we'd have to rebalance things again.
So I think that CCP should just clean up the new mess that was created with the hardener nerf (nerf large blaster damage and large railguns) and start working on expanding the AV arsenal, introducing E-war for and against vehicles, and lastly getting out all of the racial vehicles and turrets. Then we can finally talk about balance.
