Caldari Assault C/1:
3 Complex Shield Extenders
1 Basic Armor Plate (it helps you kill proto stompers so you can at least survive longer in a fight)
1 Militia CPU Upgrade
RS-90 Combat Rifle
M209 Assault Submachine Gun
C-7 Flux Grenades
KIN-012 Nanite Injector
This is assuming core upgrades are to 2, electronics and engineering are at 3, and caldari assault is to 3.

I've been running this guy for a while, it's served me well. costs ~30-35k.
Caldari Assault C/1:
L: SB-39 Rail Rifle
S: Magsec SMG
G: Flux Grenade
E: Adv. Drop Uplink
--: Complex Shield Extender
--: Enhanced Light Damage Modifier
--: Module to taste (I use a precision enhancer frequently)
-: Enhanced Cardiac Regulator
-: Enhanced Shield Regulator
Stick to cover, sprint a lot, use your range to your advantage. Watch out for lazorz, they will ruin your day. Use fluxes to take out those pesky links and hives. |

With Dropsuit Core Upgrades, Electronics, and Engineering 5 and Caldari Assault Suit 4 I can run:
2 Complex Shield Extender
2 Basic Plates
Advanced Rail Rifle (Assault or Regular)
Basic Magsec
Compact Nanohive
No grenades because that puts me at 39/39 PG but I have no points in Rail Rifle fitting optimization. If Assault was maxed or I had points in fitting optimization, I could fit a basic locus grenade.
Basic Caldari Raven Assault Suit.
Compact Nanohive lets me heal myself well enough. My Armor Upgrades is level 2 with level 3 Armor Plates and my Shield Upgrade is level 4 with 5 in Shield Extension. That puts me at 397 Shield / 312 Armor. Works fairly well. 29,550 ISK with an Assault Rail, 22,695 with a regular Advanced Rail, and 13,425 with a Basic Rail. Add 3,000 to the suit if you don't have an Assault BPO.
I would probably do something similar with the Advanced suit. I find that a higher level sidearm isn't generally that useful as the Rail Rifle is generally enough to down people and swapping to just a basic sidearm does the trick. Saves you a lot of cash as well.

Use 2 complex extenders, 1 energizer (whichever you can fit), and 2 Enhanced regulators, compact nanohive for both replenishing ammo and repairing armor. Fit a flux if you can to wreck shields since your weapons are all anti-armor. Your shield recharge will be both delicious and fabulous.
