Thanks Carbon 7 for being the first to step up - AE. paid out every member 3 mill each to your team for participating. See you again tonight.

Thank you to everyone who participated. We enjoyed the opportunity to play against many new faces. We also took the opportunity to reward several players and groups whom showed great skill, effort, or perseverance. We also appreciate the support we received from the Eve side.
We will review the event and make modifications as needed for the next. 07

I kept asking which heavies were doing well or atleast making some type of attempt and no one could say. I was in the city on each and ever match waiting....No heavies to be seen

Did anyone actually participate in this? I heard Carbon 7 beat AE, but they would have been q-syncing Minmatar anyway, and beating the f*ck out of anyone they face anyway. They probably didn't know, or care their was a "special occasion".
A small delusion of DUST 514 is if you don't know about it, you don't think it exists. There are TONS of top corps and players in this game that could give a flying f*ck about PC but could smash anyone in MH. Just because you don't see them in a PC Warbarge doesn't mean they don't exist...
I've come across players that don't sweat dropping 40 bombs every game they play, or getting 8,000 WP on a regular. When I try to recruit them, they all say the same thing "I don't care about PC"

Good sportsmanship O7
The rest of your post is of course the typical "we can beat them easily but we don't even care" bragging.
Getting 40 or even 90 kills in a pub match is no accomplishment because most of the people playing don't even know what they are doing.
Pub match heroes = That one person usually out of 32 who knows how to play very well in pubs while the other 31 are afking, goofing off, sucking, TKing/Sabotaging, or trying to learn the game.
PC match = 32 people who know how to play the game and are that 1 out of the 32 in pubs. In other words, all 32 in PC do what the 1 guy in pubs does too but they also play a game mode where everyone on their team and the opposite team are actually a threat.
TL:DR
Pubs are for casual playing
PC is for wanting to fight people who actually can kill you

1. lol Kalante, not necessary to show that at the beginning but whatever. Killing him at half armor when he isn't shooting back doesn't mean you beat him... but it does mean you can troll the crap out of him for it lol.
2. For the most part the video is correct but you can make a profit running all proto in pubs. I do it but the thing is, you will make barely any profit in a day. Maybe a few hundred thousand isk on average. I do very good but tend to slack off and goof around too much.
<-- Running proto, has 4 million isk (highest amount in wallet for a month), doesn't accept pay, no PCs to play at the moment.
3. Protofits site is awesome, nuff said

I like everything but the following: - Players currently in DNS or Negative Feedback at the time of this post are not eligible for the reward. This event is intended for those outside of current PC to test and prove themselves. DNS & NF corps have other means to do this.
AE. is in an alliance good, great, grand...
Doesn't mean that in these "community events" we cannot have some friendly competition.
I think this is an awesome idea and wish I was around to help SDK this past weekend. None-the-less, I hope to be around in the future to help with more events.
500,000 per merc if the game is not a redline 1,000,000 per merc if AE. side loses Don't cap it, just keep playing for the night until we cannot field a team.
Now that the event is over, how did it go? Results?

SteelDark wrote: Also, the reason for the DNS clause is because as the current holders of the vast majority of PC we have the means (Districts) to schedule these kind of battles ourselves in a much more effective manner. Our hope was to give players whom did not have a desire to spend ISK on the frankly ineffective clone packs a means to test their capabilities in full team battles and encourage more group play. |

I too am curious how this went?
definitely a good overall idea and a good start to what will undoubtedly be many more excursions of the like.
might wanna rethink the whole 'redline or no redline' bit.
I know when we play FW we actively try to AVOID redlining the other team. we've found ways to keep things interesting

Overall the response within Ancient Exiles was very positive. The opportunity to play together as a full group outside of PC was something we had not done prior to now and I think anything GÇ£newGÇ¥ is at least initially seen favorably. LetGÇÖs face it we have all been doing the same things for a while now. I have a lot of players whom want to continue this event and even make it multiple days during the week.
Outside of AE the response was mixed but as you can guess a lot of this was forum GÇ£MetaGÇ¥ about how we were trying to ruin a game mode which seemed to totally forget that there are a lot of corps whom q-sync faction warfare already. Outside of this Meta I did get a variety of messages in game from opponents whom were looking to fight us and many GGGÇÖs. We even got a few fights in with groups that were actively gunning for us and even though those groups did not win we took the opportunity to reward them for their effort. In addition, we also paid out several ISK rewards to individual players who stood out with extra effort or said IDGAF about being outmanned and brought the fight to us.
Some ideas I had and possible changes we are looking at making:
1)Increase payout for a win.
2)Schedule and Q-Sync a couple opponents per event. I though trying to find us might be fun twist but perhaps we should set up a couple Q-syncs for those who really want to fight us.
3)Add some written and tracked individual challenges. For example let us just say I put a Bounty on a certain, much loved, A.E members head for the duration of the event. |

meh don't listen to the QQ'ers, since FW was revamped TEAM/NF/ERA/etc have been Qsyncing Amarr FW almost nonstop...
I'm level 10 amarr now, early on the rebel scum put u a fight and some good matches, but for the last 2 months its literally become the shoeshiners convention.
I'm almost lvl 8 caldari now, which is saddening cause Caldari are the worst for OB support. I feel bad not playing amarr all the time anymore cause the PIE guys and those with them by and large have been great supporters. I blame my teammates for the Caldari QQ.
there are still a handful of Qsync regulars, but sadly not many. Im hoping more events like this change that

I wanna play. Cubs win by the way. Sorry not been updating Sir Cubs. Been busy counting my money. Yesterday was a nice little haul. You can see it here. Not a HUGE haul but for a $2 entry and the way it was won. I was in 6th place and passed ball allowed my runner to score from 3rd and for the win by .25 points LOL
and of all ironic things, it was in the Cubs game LOl...When Ben Revere scored at the end I believe it was.
