People use the Supply Depot as that, to ressuply ammo, some other use it also to repair.
Change the A suit which is damage to a suit B (different frame), then change back to A, tadaaaa, repaired.
I dont know CCP if its working as intended but, in which case, why dont make it cool? say, when you open its menu, there should be an option that says "Repair", so it repairs you, why make it this way? because it would seem a lil' bit too OP if you could just stand by it and repair yourself, same thing as nade spam, imho there should be an option on the menu that should say "Ressuply", this way people shouldnt spam granades from it.

Fun fact. Supply Depots repair 100 Armor HP/second to vehicles within the supply range. Give that functionality (25 HP/second?) to infantry within the supply range. It would give Supply Depots a stronger tactical significance.
Like my ideas?

Well considering people multi-stack repair Nanohives that rep around 50hp/second each, I don't think a repair 'aura' for supply depots at 20-25HP/second would really be that problematic. But to each his own.

Yeah, i totally understand, but i do think it would make a difference, the point is that those hives are being dropped by someone who trained into them and expended isk on, the depots are something automatic. Personally i think that doing it this my and also making that to ressuply you need to enter the menu and choose the option would adress the nade spam issue and avoid game mechanics abuse.
I mean, yesterday i was in a match with my sentinel suit and laser rifle setup and some really nice guy dropped repair nanos on my feet when i was covering a position like a champ in a really high strategic value position, i managed to block an entire squad of heavis+logis+scouts just by myself, i was taking fire but i had the cover and the repairs and the supplies and i killed 10 dudes in a couple of minutes, i think it was fair, because some nice smart guy saw that opportunity and used it... if the thing that takes care of me is automatic.... meh, no merit :c

True but they're trained for the portability. Supply Depots are immovable so that's a big disadvantage.

I like this idea. As long as the regeneration rate was not too high it would not get exploited. Something like 10-25HP per second. Low enough that it would not save you when your taking fire thus eliminating the possibility of exploiting it.
Supply depot's already have a fairly high strategic value adding this would only increase it's value.
No you kill this blueberry hacking the CRU we are camping. I already killed the last 2.
When will they learn!

I dont know if 10-25 is high enough, tbh sometimes when im totally dry on ammo i must spend 20 seconds or more to get full ammo, if we add the repair youre gonna be stuck in there for +1 minute.
If there are the options of "Repair" and "Ressuply" and they replenish any of these instantly you wouldnt feel stupid standing there, in this case it should have say a 30-60 seconds cooldown, there wouldnt be anyway to exploit em.
