Lots of things would be better but all we have in Dust is PC and pub matches, and not very many different pub matches to play. So Kane Spero-¬ and DNS* want to force everyone out of PC. Kane Spero-¬ wants to make it so players that do not obey him, can't play the best part of Dust, PC. Kane Spero-¬ does this, so those that obey him don't have to worry about ISK every again.

(Haven't played in the month b4 1.08 I just came back to see all the new things and join ML since ToP merged with them and played 4 games and ummm it bores me) Would open world help the MMO-ness of this game. Wouldn't it be cool to have a CLAN LADDER be cool? Like we choose who we want to fight..equal clones and what not to test skills (maybe even have equal gear)

You can buy clone packs which have very few clones and attack a district. You have to take out as many clones as possible and attack several times to just take the district. Using clone packs can cost anywhere between 100 million to 300 million isk. You then have to successfully defend that district while losing as few clones as possible in order to even profit. At this time with certain greedy corps out there it is very likely to not be worth the work.

At the current rate, by the time this game 'develops' the majority of the player base will be long gone and kiddies will be picking up Playstation 5`s and Xbox One-Mk720`s. The thing is that's probably not an exaggeration. Fanfest info / development on DUST is the last best hope for this game.

DNSBlack is a crazy dude, I am still surprised he even let dust bunnies into his alliance.

There is certainly a problem with breaking into a PC with the current clone pack system. However, obtaining a district via clonepack is possible, even if it takes a few tries. And if your corp control a reasonable amount of districts, it's not really a problem. The problem has come from the fact that a corp can control more districts then they actually have members to field teams for. So, they lock them, and spread through MH. So, the fix was in the locking. They fix the locking, so now a corp can over reach without some form of political structure, like what we see now with the donut. This game is more than just fighting and land taking, you need to have some sort of interaction with the players, hence the MMO part. As far as FW. I think more would play it -as DUST certainly has a large chunk of the playerbase that are into the factional lore aspect- if it would pay ISK as well, or not charge ISK for LP items. Nobody likes busting their merc booty in a FW match only to get 450 LP... Right now, I believe most FW players are there to gain access to the AURUM type items, so they can use prototype gear early. I'm seeing more and more LP Proto in matches, and in PCs... and its usually worn by lackluster players. I play for Amarr, because its the right faction to play for first off, and that uplink is worth its weight in Amarrian Gold! AINT beefing here..Kain just playing the game..the objective is to conquer planets..he just doing it. I am suggesting liek a ladder system..or like a league system. Equal clones (gear can be equal in one ladder and all out in the other). This way we can have competitive sports like fps too
