My name is Chances Ghost, and i am a Minja Hacker!
i followed my hack bonus to the minmatar scout from the minmatar logi and im adapting quite well to the change, so im making this thread to share with all the other Minja Hackers out there.
First ill share my most successful PC Minja Hack fit. I use this in conjuction with a twin who runs the same and the two of us are serious terrors.
3x Complex Shield Extender
2x Complex Dampener
1x Complex Codebreaker
Republic Boundless Specialist Combat Rifle
Ishikone Novaknife
Basic Flux
Basic Remote Explosive
Ishikone Cloak Field
This fit Requires some SERIOUS SP investment as it has only 10 CPU to spare at max CPU skills (light weapons, sidearms, explosives all maxxed) and requires at least level 3 in fitting optimisation to squeese everything in.
if your not quite there yet you can drop an extender down to enhanced or basic to squeeze in a non-specialist rifle or to make up for some lack of fitting skills.
If you dont have maxed hacking you can also downgrade to a single damp and 2 enhanced codebreakers for similar results.
Your Objective as a Minja hacker is to scout!!!! no seriously use that 80 second cloak time to watch and plan, see where they move and simply wait for the oportune moment to take the objective leaving a little explosive present behind. If you find they are fluxing or otherwise ruining your surprize hang close by after the hack and drop the explosive AFTER they start the counter hack if there are more then 1 or the area is hot, otherwise just knife a single defender.
Avoid a gunfight becuase you wont be able to reliably get into a face tank war with this scout as it only walks around with 450odd HP and while it may work in pub matches in PC taking that much damage and staying in the spotlight for that long means that even if you win the gunfight you have atrracted WAY to much attention to yourself and backup will be on its way to sniff you out.
Assasinate key targets, logi giving those heavys superpoweres? hang around and wait for them to engage a target and assasinate the logi before he can bring his reps to the party either with a quick knife or an explosive charge (bonus points for catching all of them in the blast and moping them up with some knife slashes.
Its not so much a full on combat class, its a terrorist, keep them paranoid and watching their backs, and only strike when they finally feel safe enough to let their guard down, steel their objective if they overextend, kill their logi if they dont protect him, lay a mindfield where they retreat to after a firefight, shoot them in the back while they are fighting your friends (that way they cant really tell where your shooting them from)
