With brush master making one of the coolest API intergrated websites for Dust I think i will show my support and host a fun little lottery there. I put down 50Mil of my own ISK as the starting lottery because that is the max you can put for the start.
So feel free to check it out and make sure to read the directions carefully made you will win yourself a small fortune.
tickets: 500,000 each ISK from ticket sales will go to increase lottery payout.

Very cool, we are working on many improvements! and want to hear your feedback.
Note that I implemented shorter urls for the drawings so they are even easier to share on dust. http://dustlottery.com/lottery/amirite will now also get you there. The host has a ticket log and limited public log will be released next.

For this lottery, you would
- In-game, Corporation Search, Search for "DLOTO" (Dust Lottery Drawing)
- Click give money, his lottery tickets cost 500,000 ISK each, so based on how many you want (cost x tickets) that is the amount you need to enter to send
- In the REASON box, you must enter the code "amirite" as this is the lottery code you will find on the site that identifies this lottery so my scripts know which lottery you are buying tickets for.
- In 30 minutes or less, you will see the tickets sold increase and Viktor can confirm your purchase if desired.

How does the draw take place? Is each ticket given a unique number and then added to a hat so to speak? How do I as a consumer know that this is fair? If each ticket is given a unique number do we get to choose them or are they pre assigned?
No you kill this blueberry hacking the CRU we are camping. I already killed the last 2.

- Tickets start at #1
- When you send isk, it takes amount divided by ticket cost and it gives you xx tickets
- Every single ticket has its own entry in the database and increments by one
- When the lottery ends, my code sends a query to Random.org (something like this http://www.random.org/integers/?num=1&min=1&max=100&col=1&base=10&format=plain&rnd=new if you want to see what it does) I suggest looking up http://Random.org if your not sure how it picks its random numbers.
- It takes the number returned and does a lookup in the tickets for that drawing.
- Script sets xx ticket as winner and puts it into a queue for me to pay out, which you will see here http://dustlottery.com/winners
If you on at the time that all the scripts run which are around :00-:04 and :30-34 of each hour, then you can see this as it happens.
