This equipement was supposed to be for scout, then i just see Assault, logi and even commando using it... why just not lock it to scout??

Really ? It is not just for scout , it was not meant just for scout , the cloak is a sneak thing , any one can use it , i agree commando's should be locked but assault ?

CCP made clear that the cloak is for everyone. Scouts have only the CPU/PG bonus for the cloak.

I'd rather they lowered the fitting requirements for it and adjusted the scout bonus accordingly.
Or, instead of having insane requirements for non-scouts, they could cut the duration by a factor of maybe 5, and give scouts a bonus that increases duration to its current levels.
Other suits should be able to cloak if they really want to IMO, just not as effectively. |

Is the assault rifle for assault suits only? is equipment for logis only? The answer is no right? so why should you get to keep the cloak all to yourself. selfish people like you should not be allowed to play video games. |

fact of the matter is if its not fitted on a scout suit it requres alot of cpu and pg to fit

No. CCP made is absolutely clear that all suits that have an equipment slot should be able to fit it. But they also made it clear that only scouts reap the benefits of using it via a cloak fitting bonus.
There is a bug within the logis that causes their equipment fitting bonus to be applied to the cloak, but that bug will eventually get fixed. Anyone wearing a cloak-logi after that will find themselves with an INVALID fit the next day.

Honestly when a non-scout fits a cloak, not only are they gimping their fit (it hurts on the PG/CPU) but they can oftentime still be picked up by your suits internal scanner, making them practically visible. |

This game is largely about the freedom to customize your fitting and play how you want. Fitting a cloak on anything that isn't a scout is a huge sacrifice of PG/CPU that leads to the fit being very inferior in other ways; if people want to make such a tradeoff, then let them.
There is no reason why scouts should have exclusive rights to cloaks.

they should give scouts a reduction to shimmer per level and increase shimmer on all cloaks... job done. anyone can use a cloak but only scouts are near invisible

Well the HMG IS just for sentinels (lol just throwing that out there)
Either way I'm ok with others having the ability to use the cloak. I literally fallowed a cloak mid frame around for about 15 seconds and I was amazed at just how high his profile must be. Eventually I just killed him (quite easily I might add) as it was too sad to think about how stupid his fitting must be.

Honestly, anybody with a cloak that is NOT a scout, is severely gimping there fit....with that being said, I do have proto commandos with a cloak ^.^
