Too many. I don't even know the number the Cal Scout have the best potential for it and more than likely, stacking over two profile dampeners would gimp your suit's potential too much.

When min assaults had the +1 armour rep, I used to run that fit, 4 extenders, 1 energiser and 2 dampeners, it was very good if you behaved in the manner you would with a scout.
If you know what a telefrag match is, then I love you.

1 complex and have relative success. The reality is that I have tried two and three and I had significantly less success. Assuming you put 3 then the math is something like:
(50 * 0.9) - (50 * 0.25) - (50 * (0.25 * 0.87)) - (50 * (0.25 * 0.57)) = 19.5 or likely 20 or 21 depending on how CCP rounds things out.
45 - 12.5 - 10.875 - 7.125 = 19.5
Scouts can hit 15 DB passive if they want. So wasting all of those slots to hit 20 is not going to help.
Two at the max should really be used on any medium assault, logi, or just plain medium at the most IMO.
I, personally, only use one and had great success. You must have 5 in the skill tree in order to begin having Dampened success. |

Let me rephrase that then.
You're not suppose to be as effective in hiding as a scout is. You can try, but you will forever light up on the passive scan of the Cal Scout.
