That's been a question since closed beta. It was always determined to be ineffective as well as cost prohibitive. If I recall, even if the missile explodes in flight, damage is still applied.
Think the game's broke? Go here and fix it yourself

Its been so long since i've been killed by a null cannon missile, I've actually considered hovering over the cannon to see if its still possible, MCC to MCC missiles though, yeah they will stilll hit you but they aren't an instadeath I've found they hit about as hard as a militia forge.

I was quite surprised when I first discovered that null cannon missiles are effective on dropships. The reason being that earlier that month I had stood directly on top of the null cannons, only for the missiles to phase through me.
Null cannons are apparently bias against transportation.
I've been told that people prefer fake smiles over the honest expressions of their fellow men. : )

This is kinda of topic but has anyone noticed the big where a large missle installation will shoot at an objective? It looks funny.
The new commandos should have a better paint job. Look at the Amarr one!
1.8 is fun. Cant wait for the new build!
