You'll never be able to buy aurum for isk. CCP will never make it a market option and they'll never allow aurum transfer between characters, so you won't be able to buy it from other players.
The closest you'll probably be able to get is buying aurum items from other players for isk - probably - if and when we get a fully running player market, which apparently CCP Z is working on currently.

I suppose if you trusted someone enough you could send them isk and they could send you a playstation card code with x amount of money that can be converted to aurum.
Not sure if this would work or is accepted by the EULA agreement  |

It could work ,but trusting someone over the internet is pretty difficult.

Think of aurum as CCP loyalty points. You get it by giving CCP real money. Like LP, you can't transfer it between characters, but you will be able to sell aurum items on the market, one day.

I wouldn't mind if ccp allowed an option for us to use our left over aurum and transfer it over into isk currency, I highly doubt they would ever think about letting it go in the reverse transfer.

Just curious what are the dollars to aurum exchange rate now. I'm to lazy to to to the PS store to look but if you spent 20 US how much straight Aurum can you get?
And has anyone converted Aurum to isk? |
