You can run around shooting people and hear the 13 year old kids mention how they have had sexual relations with your mother (I swear I have heard it so often there would have to be queue down the street). That is all well and good (like your mom! sigh) but that is only the small part of the game. The real game is when you sit there for 45 minutes having an internal argument with yourself about where you want to spend those wonderful Skill Points. There is always that dread of "did I make a mistake?" and "will I actually want to keep doing this later?" that keeps it very tense. It hits directly where I point it, does dmg to only what I point at, and has the scifi edge. Currently it is in a good spot, but I would always vote for laser rifle from the day it was put in the game.
