Can someone define it for me? Is that the very first match you play when you start a new character? How would I go back in??
Is there some option Im missing somewhere that allows for academy only matches. I ask because I had some douche nozzel yelling at me to go back to the academy back when I first started a couple of months ago and I was thinking to myself...Id love to do that. How? I also see people mentioning it other posts.
Hell Id go back to it now if I knew how.
Is that just another name for the public matches?

once your out of the academy, you cant go back in, its for brand new players only (well, brand new profiles only, i and other vets have created new profiles just to mess around in the academy).
there is a set amount of war points for you to attain, once youv passed that amount your cast out of the academy and put in with the sharks.
you want to go back to the academy, make a new profile.

if i haven't played in a few days i like to warm up in academy with default or difficult fit
it's fun to go after those academy tankers because they are absolute trash- MLT heavy/MLT FG ends their stomp
i stomped academy then graduated to stomping the academy stompers.
at the most now if theres no stompers i just fit a gorgon with rails or blasters and a CRU the blues like that. i no longer triple plate a MLT gallente med frame and usually try for unusual kills like plasma cannon, ion pistol or jihad grenade with an untanked scout. i try to invite academy newbs to my channel to see if they need help but so far the only guy who accepted didnt speak english.
u can ban the troll out of the forums but u can't ban the forums out of the troll.

Thanks for the answers all. Id love to go back and work on my gun game against people at my same skill level heh. Ill get there but its definitely frustrating!

IDK if it's 1200 WP for one match or multiple matches in total, but that's the number for getting kicked out of the academy.
Personally I think CCP isn't doing a good enough job of keeping trolls out of it.
