i need to start putting flaylocks on some of my suits...kinda tired of the rdv dribbling my vehicles.. shoot it with a weapon tht has knock back power and the rdv will drop it... |

to be honest, i have only seen 3 kills from a flaylock since their nerf. and they were all in the same fight, by the same guy and by a core flaylock pistol. anyways, sounds like your as dedicated to the flaylock as i am the ion pistol. for the same reasons too. its gallentean. its beautiful. im also a proud user of your tech too. specifically, the combat rifle, RE, locus grenades, and smg. smg is my second fav sidearm. and i wouldnt even think of running my Gallente assault suits without a remote explosive.
our races are allies, so it makes sense.

It's a dumb weapon because they nerfed the hell out of the splash and damage which was definitely needed, yet didn't increase the travel time of the missiles which would encourage direct hits, which was definitely needed.
If a gun is ****** at landing direct hits, and ****** at splash hits. Why use it over sidearms that are better in every way?
HOWEVER, the flaylock will make a triumphant return when they add the homing variant. Then probably nerfed into oblivion after a month or two. |

The Scrambler Pistol might have been my first piece of prototype gear, but the Flaylock was my first sidearm lover in uprising. Even if it did get hurt and I never got it to Lv5 before the nerf, it still holds a special place in my heart... though I regret nothing in coddling my scrambler pistol. It's still my baby.
Nova Knives are OP! Nerf em before you lose all your proto suits!

It's sad how nerfed the Flaylock got. When it came out, it was awesome. I think if they brought back the stats it had when it first came out, it would be fine now, since almost every class has more EHP (except logis and assault).
Truthfully, I used it as my primary weapon for my logi when it came out. then they nerfed it, and I couldn't kill anyone, so when uprising came out, I scrapped the Flaylock, with a heavy heart.
If they insist on keeping these trashy stats, we should get an additional 3 rounds per magazine. That or buff the thing again.
It just doesn't hold water to the other sidearms. especially not the SMG's. |
