When I flying my ADS, I meet a DS, I shot it to 0 shield 0 armor and it didn't die!!!
WTF?
CCP fix your game
Give me back my working ADS
Give me back ml skill-needed tank battles

They have a small buffer of structure HP that's invisible, IIRC.
That allows this kind of thing to happen sometimes.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

I remembered I did that once. The same things happen to suits. You can survive with .0000001 health. It's funny when it happens to you. It's infuriating when it happens to your opponent. |

I don't know about dropships but i survived with my dropsuits at 0/0 HP many times. It's not a glitch, at least on dropsuits. Although if that happens with vehicles too, you were extremely unlucky to hit the exact damage needed for a dropship to survive 0/0 HP.

I'm enjoying thomas mak threads. I worry that if he gets better at English, it will be less entertaining. But for now, they're fun.
No, you didn't meet a guy with 0.000000001 HP, you met a guy with 0 shield HP, 0 armour HP, but no structure damage. EVERYTHING has a baseline HP value below the armour which isn't shown by an in-game meter. It's VERY rare for a Dropsuit or vehicle to hit exactly 0/0 without losing that last little bit required to kill them, but it can happen.
No, you didn't hit a "tank ghost", you hit the still-fading body of a tank you saw getting destroyed. Destroyed vehicles and structures don't vanish instantly, they take a while to get broken down by nanites on the battlefield. During this time, they disappear from view rapidly, but the hitbox doesn't disappear until they've been completely consumed, meaning you can crash into something that looks like it's ALMOST disappeared and there shouldn't be enough left to hit. |

ive been that guy in the 0-0hp dropship many times and goin man im lucky cos the same as d'suits there is a 'hull' hp on everything
8th in the world for kills.
