Instead of plates and extenders adding a flat rate of HP per module, how about making them add a percentage of base stats? Fixes the problem with these scouts dual tanking to heavy HP calibers. I have laughed at a scout with over eleven hundred HP. |

To much logic in this post, OP is OP.
This idea could/would work, but you'd get a load of hate for it. Somewhere along the lines of not being able to play how we want to play.. But I could see it having an effect on differentiating the class's.

Max amount of HP an amarr scout can get is just about 1030. So 1100 hp scouts are impossible.
What you're seeing is probably 6-700 armor gal scouts cuz they're OP
Besides that, I like your idea. I'd assume there would be stacking penalties as well since they're percentages.
What would you propose be the percentages for armor and shield?

Yea like I thought when I read your response to me.
What's the problem with the player wanting to dual tank and why are you plus others so hell bent on changing the way a person wants to experience this game just so you can have fun and kill a scout?
You didn't laugh at that scout. You were infuriated when you saw it and probably get even more mad when he popped you while cloak. And now we have this thread...
People are hiding their own personal "I always wanna win" agendas behind this idea that scouts need to be reprimanded for their dual tanking.
That's crazy. This game is built on customization. You earned the SP to do what you wish with your suit. Who are you to judge what they do with their scout dropsuit?

Shields: 15/20/25% more shields per level 3/4/5% shield regen delay penalty
Armor: 30/40/50% more armor per level 3/4/5% movement speed penalty
This would require a Heavy and Medium Frame Base HP nerf, because heavies getting 300 Armor Per module would be super unbalanced.
In fact, the Base HP of suits would have to be very standardized for this to work, and heavies sentinels would have to have about 500 Base HP, or they could get their EHP to go past 2K.
Something like: Lights: 200 Base HP Mediums: 350 Base HP Heavies: 500 Base HP
Overall, because this would require a complete overhaul of all suits and HP modules, I don't think this is a good idea.

I laughed at the scout because he was trolling on my team, I was QQing about how scouts can tank more HP than my Amarr Assault, and this unnamed merc tanked out his Amarr Scout with around 1100 HP. I cannot quote the exact amount but it is ridiculous regardless. As for the numbers that is for you nerds and CCP to figure out, it is just a brainstormed idea for CCP to screw up like most other things. |
