So, today I killed a weird thale user. They were weird because, although using a medium frame ak.0, they managed to fit both a thale and a cloak. So, after the match, I checked the thale's CPU/PG usage.
It's the same as advanced sniper rifles.
This shouldn't be. Out of all the officer weapons, the one that's always abused in pubs is the easiest to fit (relative to other weapons of its type) This definitely needs to be changed.
I am your scan error.

Yep, some officer gear (and LP store variants) are identical or outright better in performance to prototype tiers but have easy fitting requirements. The only reason we haven't seen Officer-stomping is its harder to get a hold of and keep, and has steeper skill requirements (comparatively).
The most OP weapon on the Dust Battle Field:
One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.

The thing is, even compared to other officer gear, thales have low fitting requirements.

There's also the fact that using an officer weapon puts a giant target on your back

You really have to wonder what the bar is for OP in an officer weapon.
No.

Why? A lot of the officer gear has reduced CPU and PG. I would totally agree if you could easy purchase them, but as it is now, I think they're fine.
