Forcing redline tanks out of the redline to get any points was a good change for gameplay CCP.
Now lets get those infantry scrubs out as well.
Reduce the sniper rifle to 300m as well.
Real AV doesn't stop until all the tanks are dead.

The redline itself is the problem, not the snipers. Sniper Rifles are already having a hard enough time as it is, other than the Charge variant and the Thales. |

Just make it where if you make a kill in the redline it doesn't earn WP's.
Redline sniping would basically disappear in a week.
He imposes order on the chaos of organic evolution...

In all honesty, 300m should be enough for a non redline sniper to do what they do, but force the K/D padders out of the redline.
Though, there should be a change in the mechanics of the sniper rifle to make a 'shoot and move' tactic a lot easier. The current mechanics of the smallest movement making it sway like crazy and no variable zoom just promote sitting in one location.
We want cake and tea.
