I run almost 100% of the time my ADS and ive learnt, that my primary purpose isnt to get kills,(specially in PC) but rather to be a portable hyper radar (vehicle scanners are better than handled scanners) , to transport da troops and specially to get uplinks in tatical positions/ elevated areas, and to replenish them when an EMP strike comes, or when they run out of spawns.
But i also need to be somehow effective in the ground in case i get shot down or i am not required to fly.
Because of this i choose the Amarr logi as my "pilot" Suit.
its bonus to Uplinks us great in PC and it lets me get a decent suit for when the ground battles come.
(also, the templar logi suit is great when im just playing in pubs)
im only lvl 1 on those because i used the SP frm the respec and MCC event to max out ADS skill (10% more dmg) and get my uplinks to lvl 5.
So i ask my fellow Pilots (tankers and Dropshipers)

Stay unscanned, can cloak if I need to run away. Second eq slot for my repair tool.
Can also carry uplinks and a rep tool for PC.
Real AV doesn't stop until all the tanks are dead.

Caldari scout with cloak and damp. I can sneak away from battles cloaked and see just about anything that might be following me while I call in a vehicle. |

Te only suit that should be used is a light suit. I hope the pilot suit would be a requirement for commandeering a vehicle. I like to have some kind of decorum. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Of course if you hand power players a heavy suit they'll say **** it and use that. I like to look beyond the generic power play mentality and run what would make snse within the context of the game world. Call a sense of RP or what have you.
