So. Battlefield wise the Amarr scout is arguably, by the majority, the worst scout. It lacks the special skill that makes it as desirable as the other scouts. So what I recommend is this. A Nosferatu like equipment piece.
It wouldn't be a droppable equipment or a mobile-external equipment but more like the Caldari Cloak's internal-design. Simply with the press of a button on your dropsuit's interface, you would be able to:
- Lower their sprinting speed
- Lowering their stamina recovery
- Drain your enemy's shields
- Nullify their armor repair rate
- Weaken their profile scanning range
- Weaken their profile dampening
- Drain Cloaks
- And nullify resistances
Of course all functions wouldn't be present in one variant, as the equipment would need to focus on only a few specific task without draining your capacitor dry.
All variants would drain sprinting speed and stamina recovery but one variant would focus on Anti-eHP Tank by nullifying armor repair rate, draining shields, and nullifying resistances while the other would focus on Anti-Intel Tank by weakening the profile scanning range and dampening ability of the enemy as well as their cloaking ability. The equipment would also boost the sprinting speed and stamina recovery of the user.
The purpose for them all would be to harm someone's tanking ability whether it's a speed tank, eHP tank, or intel tank. On the field it would work by someone activating it in a battle, and for a set amount of time, the equipment would drain up to three targets in battle. Rays of energy like this would come out of a target's dropsuit and enter into the user's dropsuit.
This would be an Amarr racial equipment with a bonus to scouts which allows them to better fit this CPU/PG intensive equipment, making the Amarr the scout dropsuits the prefered combination.
The equipment picks up on specific signals to drain, mainly "red" colored dropsuits. This is both a blessing and a curse as it makes it a non-Friendly Fire capable equipment but at the same time it doesn't allow for more than one user to use the equipment on a person as they've already designated them through the neocom and other communication devices. Essentially, these equipments can't be stacked together. There's also the issue of EMPs disturbing it's draining process and it's cooldown being enough time for mercenaries to bounce back and enter conflict again, if not used properly.
Pros:
- It aids in force multiplying
- Makes for easier kills for a scout
- Works well with the Amarr's stamina
I- s functioning crowd control equipment
Cons:
- An Amarr scout is required to utilize it with minimum CPU/PG hassles
- It's debuffs can't be stacked on enemies
- Will require that a dropsuit is fitted a certain way to use it effectively
- Is vulnerable to EMPs
- Has a tough cooldown
