Bolt pistol damage is awesome, but its effective range is onle 40-30 meters. total crap in the range department for a rail weapon. i think it needs to be buffed in that area only.
Ion pistol is awesome except that it has that over-heating mechanism after every single changed shot, it should build up to over heating after 2-3 charged shots, make it more like a mini plasma cannon without splash damage, slower projectile speed for charged shots and less heat build up |

i agree that the bolt pistol needs to have a longer range. at least 60m.
the ion pistol is fine. the full charge is meant to kill softer targets in one shot (though, its notbecause every other scut is tanking. fix this already CCP!!!!). a one-hit-kill shot is worth a 3 second coooldown. however, when not firing charged shots, it shouldnt overheat. and if firing a half-charged shots, it need to fill the overheat bar half way rather than the full overheat it does now

2-3 charged shots.... Dude i have used an ion pistol, i think 1 charged shot is like 300+ hp, so 2-3 shots is something that does 900+hp and then the overheat is pretty fast |

There's something about the ion pistol. It makes a great sidearm. The only problem comes when I try to use it as a light weapon, which is not.
