I snipe using a kb/m, but pick up my controller for cqc. If noticed that when using the kb/m in cqc, I can have my sights completely fixed on target but many rounds not registering. This is not an issue with the controller because autoaim seems to make the bullets magnetic.
Why not add a lower value of aim assists to all weapons, as well as aim assist to kb/m on a very small, none noticible level. I'm talking about so low that the crosshairs are not even pulled to the traget at all, but the weapon should gain the bullet magnetism that other weapons have. Aim assist feels as though it autocorrects for server side lag and is an unfair advantage to players that use a weapon that has it vs a player that doesn't.
I'm sure it would take alot of time to code, and am not sure how the bullet correction would work at the low levels I have described. Can someone with programing experience tell us how aim assist works and if this would fix the issues I have described?

Funny, I bet if I wouldn't have mentioned kb/m into this, I'd have more replies. It is just sad, this game is all about catering to ds3 users, and anything mentioned to help bring kb/m to an even playing field goes ignored.
KB/m doesn't shoot the second you click fire and is horrindous at keeping sights on target (and still not deal all your damage). Yet you see plenty of people crying about our straffing (I'd bet most of these "straffers" are actually ds3 users).

KB/M has some serious issues for sure. Weapons wheel is PITA among other things. Only solution seems to be using something like an Eagle Eye.
Running a blaster tank in ambush is like bringing Anthrax to a pillow fight.

Its a PS3 for god's sake >.> it's a console it was made for a DS3 so of course its going to cater more to the DS3. That's like me going to your house and smashing your door open so a bear can get inside and have a fair chance at a ceiling above it's head, even though bears don't belong in your house

I'm quite impressed by how you managed to use "its" and "it's" the wrong way around almost every time. Most people who get them wrong either use them randomly or use the same one every time whether right or wrong. It shows that you at least know there's a difference. You're a half-step above the usual netspeak... kind of. Also, props for getting "god's sake" right instead of saying "god sakes" as if that can somehow make sense if you repeat the mistake often enough. |

KBM gets no assist whatsoever and I feel that the AR has been rendered completely useless at range without the DS3 aim-assist. I could almost assume that the shotgun has less spread than the AR with KBM. The only thing I don't do on KBM is dropships. The DS3 setup is perfect for it.
