And they did. The eHP nerfs are wanted because some things are overperforming.
It's not like it's a sin to reduce the HP of something if it's too high.
My intentions is to have a fun game for everyone.
If I seem to be biased, I have good hard data to back it up.

Not too fast, not too slow.
A skilled player can still take out a group if flanked, which is something high TTK takes away as they can all turn around and insta gib that person.

As cool as it is...
With higher player counts it will become less and less a possibility to take on the mob solo... Having the mechanics in place to support more squad support based play before that happens and the balance around it seems a better future thought option..
And the TTK being higher, forcing a need for team mates to take on more then 2.... rather then solo taking out a squad... Makes a lot more sense looking to the future and the overall benefit to DUST as a whole. Instead of the individual.
If a Mercenary Invests into something... They should always have a chance to turn and defend that investment.. That was always one of DUST's main charms. |
