Cant do any freakin without getting killed by these fake as heck scouts. Cant try anything new, cant have fun. The only way to win is to do the same thing there doing.
This is bullcrap, I'd almost prefer tank 514. I'm just gonna let my character sit on passive SP cause this is complete crap. Hey lets all go cloak and annoy the crap out of everyone
even though I'm only using scout suit for the cloak. Props to anyone who stayed assault logi heavy true scout cause this is ********. Yeah I'm bad. Yes I am.
I suck 'get gud' well I don't see a way how with this crap.

Situational awareness seems to help.
A mass Driver or laser easily kills cloaked scouts
Turn up your brightness and contrast on you're TV to see cloaked scouts more easily

Cloaks are a somewhat New Mechanic in Multiplayer FPS games.. It will take a few weeks for everyone to learn how to pick cloaks out and see them... Understand the run spots, the hide spots... The places Cloaky's are waiting for a pass by of a groups...
People that have played Crysis are already picking Cloaks out like a sore thumb.. Even the stationary ones.
As far as Damage potential... Health Amount... Efficacy Use of a gun... Well every other class bar the Logi is better at all of those... ?? |

But not simultaneously. At least, not thanks to the movement speed. They might not be able to speed tank anymore (GOOD) but they can definitely throw off my aim with bunny hopping and strafing in CQC.

This happens for me with Minmatar sentinels.... anything... the slghtest movement and I miss without correcting My aim...
If the Crosshair's aren't "RED" where it lights up.... I miss... Aim assist allows everything else to hit in DUST 514 and people have just got lazy.
Same thing about scouts.... Scanners and constant 24hr at will awarenenss of where the enemy group is across the map... Has created a Placedbo effect... where everyone is blind... but the Scouts... So they are somehow this Epic OP thing..
Scanning and having wallhacks WILL ALWAYS BE OP in a FPS game.. Setting up a squad or a suit around this premise in DUST will help address the problem rather then just blaming the game. Use the tools CCP gives you. |
