Similar to Ambush, but not really.
There would only be one map for the mode, and it would be barren and flat: no hills, nothing to hide behind. The clone count would be 150 for each team, and no vehicles or squads would be allowed.
Each team would spawn exactly 100m away from each other and there would be a 5 minute time limit before the match ends.

Only Sentinels with HMGs would spawn. Possibly FGs. Madmen with Plasma Cannons possibly would spawn too.

Make a map like Fracture Road OMS split down the middle -F1-F13, G1-G13 & H1-H13- With A-F being one side and I-M being the other. Put CRUs all the way across the redline of each side and then have everyone fight in the middle eight sections- D-J - with OMS style drops from edge to edge (1-13). No points to hack, no timer, no clone count and let us mercs fight till we are done. It wouldn't matter how long we stay and there would never be an ending or winner. Just let us spawn in and fight till we are done. When the merc is done fighting and leaves the battle they get paid.
Have a minefield that spawns prox mines constantly to keep vehicles from getting to close to the other teams spawn line and lots of turrets that help defend the line against vehicles. Make it where there are always five turrets able to hit anywhere close to the redline they protect and if they are destroyed OMS drops another. Have supply depots drop all over the map at random for us to hack and use.
Have a small ridge in the middle so SR can't shoot across the map, no buildings in the middle to camp and just let us fight. Most of us just want to get paid or earn WP and this would do it for us. Call it Frontline or Battlefront or Hamburgerhill or whatever else but I promise we would play it.

In fact, CCP should add in the spectator mode so everyone not participating could watch, and perhaps place bets.
My money goes to the team with the most Logis, because in my mind, a full team of Logis with triage hives and injectors > a full team of Sentinels. |
