What I thought cloaks would be:
-useful for scouts and lighter fittings to travel long distances or sneak past enemies undetected
What cloaks turned out to be:
-useful to run directly up to people who have no way to defend themselves or prepare other than hope they or somebody near them specs into a particular piece of equipment and chooses to use it at the perfect time, then shotgun them to death
-disappear from combat when you aren't good enough

Maybe you aren't good enough to catch them or smart enough to beat them.
Running and hiding does not mean your not good enough in any way. If anything it means your smart enough to know when to back off.

There are a few really scary cloaked scouts(I'm pretty sure I ran into a calamity jane alt who just wrecked me 3-4 times in a row), but most of them are bad I can't count the number of suits I've dropped who cloak up in plain view and then ran in a straight line towards my combat rifle. |

The CPU/PG bonus for cloaks is to high!!!! Scouts have same HP with assaults. Thats not right, even if you manage to see them and shoot on them they survive to long. |

thats what i was hoping it would be used for because dampeners are cloak enough if you need the cloak to sneak up on someone then well your a scrub with a side of scrub and a topping of noob juice
