I dislike it, it makes my weapon usless against certain things like armor and shields. Forgegun is now terrible at taking out shielded vehicles. Assault rifle is absolute sh*t at taking out armor things. At 30m, it takes like 30 bullets to take down 200 armor. |

I never liked this change. ARs are rarely able to finish someone off, and as a Gallente commando i want to benefit from my specific bonus, so i'm not really interested in puttin' CRs or RRs there, it feels like... a waste (though maybe it wouldn't be after all, but i don't want to feel scammed with my bonus!) |

I love it. I carry a main weapon for shields and my sidearm for armour. it feels like new eden.

Taking out their shields with a few ScP shots and then finishing them off with the CR worked quite good for me today. I like the changes.

I use a MD its just means you have to think about your engagements more, if you use an assault rifle take a scrambler pistol. Sorted

I kinda wish they were all like the old shotgun prof bonus, to where they improved some other aspect instead of all of them being flat damage increases.

When using assaults( If your talking about the plasma rifle ) , if I can't use anything ... if not pro , other than breach versions . There are certain weapons that I just love ( if we get a refund 2.0 things will be so beautiful for those who play now ) and breaches , assault scramblers , any MD and my magsec are the reason that a refund would have helped .
I would have maxed out my swarms , magsec's , snipers , rail rifles , scrambler rifles and mass drivers .
CCP you could have helped me kill the clutter , help me to be the player that I dreamed of being , given me a role and now suits and side arms to go with in . The magsec and bolt pistol will do a lot to help snipers defend themselves and they now swarmer's ( Unless your in a logi suit ) who are not commando's have a viable side arm .
But alas . I'm glad I have my breaches though , I would have specked plasma rifles for the breaches and the specialist Duvolle .
Leave all negative comments about tanks in the bin marked " TRASH " and we'll get to it as soon as possible . Thank You

I like the tactical side it brings to the fights. Before nobody was caring about the type of enemy HP, now it's important. Personally I don't find my assault rifle too bad against armour and my combat rifle too bad against shield.

Suits me just fine. What bugs me is that there is very little noticable difference between the weapon levels. Only real noticable difference between the ar, gek & duovolle (imho) is the price tag. I remember going from prof 1 to prof 5 in a single transaction, that change got ky attention. When i went from rr to kaaliokota rr (?) in a single transaction i immediately wondered why.
It may be play style, but the value for proto gear in pubs/fw is just not there. |

Gallente weapons get a Rof prof Amarr weapons either get a reduced charge time or cool down Matar get a clip/ammo supply increase Cal get a a reduced charge time with slight twicks to their charge time to make people want to go prof

Wait, are you saying ther training the prof skills that grant bonus to one defense type reduces the other? Wouldn't the base damage remain the same for the off type of defense?

i dont notice a thing really one hurts shields another armor i get kills with all my weapons and i have most of them to me it's all about proper engagement and actually hitting the target. no complaints here.

Teaches you that sometimes that sidearm slot isn't just there for looks. And that you may actually need to switch weapons. Unless of course you're a logi ,in which case, why are shooting?

They should keep the current weapon values and make proficiency a 2% per level increase to both shields and armour. It would help the weak aspect of the gun by a small amount whilst still making it effective at taking out the thing it is designed to bring down |

I love it. It brings a better balance to the game. With proficiency and damage mods in 1.7, every weapon once maxed out had over 100% efficiency to both shields and armor. There really wasn't any noticeable difference in damage profiles, just raw damage.
Now it matters. Sidearms have become more useful. I'm actually seeing a little more variation on the kill feed, once it stops flashing shotgun names for a few sec that is.
I am here to ask you one question, and one question only: EXPLOSIONS?

It's supposed to be like this. In New Eden standards. EVE is the same way pretty much. You have the ships that tank a certain way and then the weapons that affect your tank.
Having Dust like this make it more New Eden. Personally, I like it. Have a weapon that slays the shield tankers (or a flux) and a weapons that kills the armor tankers.
Or be like me and just stab people which does damage to both equally :3 |

...Except for amarr shield and minmatar armor resistances which are stupid anyway.
