Why does the cloak have to be so high with the cpu,I would have to waste a lot of Sp and Isk for the cloak and for the proton armor.scouts suits |

That's the point.
You can fit a cloak on any suit, but any suit other than the scout will be severely gimped by fitting that cloak.
It's an attempt at balance.
I am here to ask you one question, and one question only: EXPLOSIONS?

because we dont want that every 1 is capable to fit them on their suits except scouts. Could you imagine a fully brick tanked logi with a proto cloak?

Scouts have the role bonus to the requirements of fitting cloaks as others have said here. The higher tier you spec into scout suits the lower the requirement. It also helps if you have max core skills. Seeing that you seem new the core skills I mean are 'core', 'electronics' and 'engineering'. Doesn't hurt to have your primary weapon maxed out either.
With all core skills maxed, weaponry skills maxed and PG reduction maxed (for some weapons) I can fit a proto scout suit with all proto modules and equipment. |
