Light frames don't like mass drivers. Mass drivers just got buffed. Besides myself I've seen 5 mass drivers on the field. You can two shot a scout with a mass driver. You can even do this while backpedalling out of shotgun range. Hell you can even bunny hop while delivering freedom because shotguns are pretty crappy.
Now, get a squad mate to make a suit. E-war. Precision to the gills. Range to the max with a touch of dampening. Put one of those sexy cloaks on there. That guy is called a scout. Not sure if you've ever encountered one of these before. You know what he does? He spots enemies for you. He kills easy prey. He runs away from the slightest sign of danger. He takes advantage of opportunity.
That scout's most important job? Counter scouting. Finding the slayer scouts and coordinating with your team. You could even put a mass driver.... get this... ON THAT SCOUT SUIT.
Having a problem with those ghostly Gallente? Put that mass driver on overwatch. That's the tactical term for "rooftop camper."

I actually target mass drivers before HMG's when I flank with knives.

I've seen a few mass drivers lately. They scare the hell out me.
I hadn't seen one in so long, the first one I saw since after the update, it was like "What's that glowing ball in the air? Why's it getting bigger? Does it want to be friends?"

Way to beat mass drivers: Shoot them in the back, from about 3 inches away. if they want to kill you, they're committing suicide.
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.
