Will you buy it? In the future I will.
But it's sad that key word - communication doesn't work here.
Why there is no information about this book in DUST site or forums? As always - only some other player have to give you information, and not devs... 
Sometimes I feel like DUST wants to be a separate game and not part of EVE Universe...

Well, consider the fact that the book is named EVE: Source and not DUST: Source. And on top of that, this book was co-published by CCP Reykjavik and Dark Horse, no reference that CCP Shanghai was much involved. EVE is still the larger demographic CCP appeals to, and EVE has much more lore than DUST has for the moment, and has been around for much longer. Even though the DUST and EVE universes are shared, most of the actual lore is based around EVE(have you seen how big the lore/roleplayer community is in DUST compared to EVE? It's laughable).
So, when DUST passes its ten year mark and has as rich of a lore as EVE Online, then maybe we can create a DUST: Source book. In any case, EVE: Source still has a information about DUST 514 too.
And yes, I will buy that book when I have the money.

I don't agree with you. CCP is one company, and not two, like CCP Reykjavik and CCP Shanghai. It's just two offices of the same company. So CCP co-published, not CCP Reykjavik.
EVE and DUST live in the same lore universe, so all the history are the same for both games.
And if you scroll to the top of the page you are reading, you will see in your left side DUST logo, which is written EVE DUST 514
