I love the bolt pistol. Even though the hit detection is kinda buggy sometimes with it, when it works fine, it's a beast!
Sorry scrambler pistol.. :( but bolt is my new baby

Its by far the coolest and i will always use it.
Though it does need a bit of a damage buff

So what's so good about it over other sidearms? I haven't tried it out yet (or anything for that matter, stuck at uni until tomm).
From what I've seen, it's VERY slow, but hits harder than almost anything else. I'd imagine using it as a backup for a shot gun, finishing off enemies that slip out of shotty range after an ambush, but idk.

the accuracy its 63.something meaning headshots if your decent at aiming

I'm definitely warming to it. I almost soloed a heavy with one. Mind you this guy for, some reason, was hitting everywhere but where I was.
But it was good to use. A good combo would be Bolt + Ion. Get them low with the bolt and then insta kill them with the Ion charged shot. |

It's a pretty excellent long-range 'finisher' with a scope. It's a *REALLY* good pistol, in fact I quite like the ion pistol too (though it needs a few improvements). Right now all the pistols sans maybe the flaylock are really, really good, it's been hinted that the minmatar might get a new machine pistol though. |

I love the bolt pistol, but I don't want to loose that delicious kick by buying more operation skill. Does the recoil animation still act like a real weapon if I skill up the Operation skill?
