Just finished a skirmish map, hunting snipers and abusing assaults uphill from their home point.
Happened twice: 18 seconds on the clock. When it gets to 6 seconds you suicide.
Anyone else having this issue?
Today is the sort of day where the sun only comes up to humiliate you.

Been happening to me quite a bit lately, I would say since 1.7. I've been killed by the red line with as much as 12 seconds left on the clock, as well as killed out of the red line with the clock still running.
Not that it stops me from going in there to knife snipers... |

If you're scanned (and/or apparently cloaked now) when you enter the redline, or get scanned once you're in it, the count down gets messed up. It's happened to me several times, and is the source of this problem. |

Im wondering if the visual timer is different to the internal timer as I have notice the countdown being slow sometimes

I can verify this. Getting scanned before or during entering the redline screws with the countdown display. The real scary ones are when the countdown stays on my screen after leaving the redline.
However, as somebody who has several fits dedicated specifically to running into the redline to hunt snipers, I can say with some confidence that I have never seen the timer itself get bugged.
By that I mean no matter what the display says, whether I run out of time or have plenty left, it has always given me the standard 20seconds over the line.
So you're not being unjustly killed by the redline per se, you're just being fed false information.

This has been happening to me to can't kill a sniper in the red line by going in the red line anymore.

Happened in my Dropship for about three days.. I avoid the redline now.
xSivartx is my Heavy. There are many like him, but he is my own...
So, other Logi's back off, those are my Warpoints!

I haven't been killed early/late by the redline(always seems to count down properly for me) except that sometimes, especially when in a dropship, the timer continues after I leave the redline despite my location(whether just outside of the redline or most of the way across the map. |

So far the only work around to this problem is to count 20 seconds in your head and hope no one in the house or on comms start shouting random number while you're counting.
